ISO/TS16949 (TS means the technical specifications) will be a number of automotive quality management system requirements (QS-9000, VDA6.1, EAQF, AVSQ) integrated. ISO/TS16949: 2002 has obtained worldwide (Europe, Asia and the United States) automotive industry recognition. U.S. Big Three auto companies - Daimler Chrysler, General Motors, Ford will ISO/TS16949: 2002 as their dominant requirements. 
 ISO/TS16949: 2002 specifies the quality management system such as the design (development), production, and, where applicable, installation and maintenance requirements of automotive products.
